Computer Cat with Math

Hello!

Sorry for not posting. I forget to do a blog once in a while.

Ugh...my computer is so slow. I wish I had a Windows Vista. No, no, a Windows 7. By the way, do you know what XP, Vista and 7 mean? I know what 7 means, but why is it there? I mean, in the two words, Windows 7?

I also know what 2000 (as in Windows 2000) means. It means that the operating system was invented in the year 2000. That was 1 year before I was born! I was born in 2001.

That means I'm eight now! Sorry for not telling you earlier.

Math Cats is pretty good. Especially the OBBL blocks.

MY IPOD!

Hello!

This is much easier...than writing the blog on my iPod. I've had it for a while and I've got lots of Ben Lee music on it. I've also got Virtual Villagers 1 on it. I unlocked (but I didn't buy) Virtual Villagers 3 on my laptop. I had it for quite a long time, but then my laptop started over, and went back to new. It's a good thing I had backup! But sadly, I had to start over. I also lost my code for Fish Tycoon, but an old e-mail on my iPod saved it.

Did I tell you that while I was trying to write this on my iPod, it published with only the title?! I quickly deleted it.

If you want me to post a screenshot, comment. I might do one now!

Sorry it's a bit small. Oh, and sorry I didn't do a blog for a while. I'm about...more then 1/4, but less then a half in progress. Maybe a half. And I only have a population of 9! That's because I can't spare researchers. So I try to use the chief.

This is a short story. I call it...

Donro Dragon

Donro Dragon was a dragon in Dragonland, Dragonville. He had lots of friends; Dora Dragon, Dero Dragon, Drigro Dragon, and Drigro's sister, Drigra Dragon.

One day, when Donro was playing Chase Me with his friends (Drigro and Drigra), Drigra said, 'Let's go in the air to play!'. So they went up...All of them...Except Donro.

Donro couldn't fly. It seemed so scary, just...just going up like that.

'Come on up!' said Drigra, flying up a little higher, 'It's won-der-ful!'. But Donro wouldn't go. His friends sighed, (all at the same time) and went back down.

I've got an iPod Touch! Well, not yet. It's supposed to come on Feb 2 or 3. In case you didn't know, Mama has an iPhone. I spent my life savings on it. It's 8gig. Mama's is 16gig. iYou iShould iGet iOne. iThey're iReally iCool! If you're a grown-up, maybe an iPhone?

The thunderbird said, 'She's the one making the thunderstorm!'

And the firefox said, 'Let's have a closer look!' So they flew down, and then the witch looked up, and spotted them!

'Ha he ha!' said the witch, 'I am unstoppable! But then...the sunbird came! He knocked the witch off the mountain, and flew away! Mind you, it's not that easy to knock witches off mountains.

'Oh no!' said the thunderbird and firefox, who had heard the witch. (She's very loud, you know.)

With the firefox on the thunderbird's back, the thunderbird and firefox flew over the mountain. They saw the witch on the highest point.(On the mountain, of course)

She was still HEing. What's baby guinea pig?

Tambles still doesn't like me.

He is cute, although a hurty kind of cute.

So, the story?

'I think I will make it sunny', said the sunbird ' and then everyone will go out to play!'

So he made it sunny, and everyone went out to play.

But then...they heard the CRACK of thunder!

The sunbird tried to make it sunny again, but it would not work!

Everyone ran to their houses!

The witch (yes, the same one) was causing this on the same mountain.

'He he he' she said, 'he he he hehe!'

Wes doesn't have Internet, so he still hasn't read my last post. I have Internet!

If you have a child, (or if you are one) buy them books!

Scary books would be "boo-ks".

I love to read!

You have to find out what they like (or what kind of book you like if you are a child).

Mama's found guinea pig books on the Internet!

I mean, if you liked dogs you could easily find books about dogs.

If you liked...Cats...Hamsters...Dragons...Guinea pigs...see what I mean?

Anyway, how about that story?

The sunbird and his seamonkey moved into the thunderbird and firefox's house.

They were very happy, once again.

Then one day, there was a great big storm!

It was not only a storm, it was a thunderstorm!

Pause the story!

Now, what was the thunderbird doing?

He was...

The thunderbird was in the castle-house with the firefox.

Anna had just gone off for a walk. (Remember?)

Pause again!

Back to the sunbird...(and his seamonkey...)

Everyone was in their houses.

'Phew,' said the sunbird, safely in his house, 'At least I can make it sunny again if I want to.' (Remember that he's a sunbird)

The seamonkey blew bubbles. (His power is that he can swing like a monkey. Real seamonkeys don't do that.)

Now, my story, I will start a new one...But...But you should wait and see!

Once upon a time, there was a sunbird and his pet, a seamonkey (a seamonkey is a tiny water creature or a Mozilla web browser; Sunbird is a Mozilla calender).

They were very happy together.

Then one day, the sunbird said, 'I am very happy here, but Seamonkey, do you think we should move?'

The seamonkey blew bubbles.

'Oh come on,' said Sunbird, 'Let's move!'

And so they packed, and set off.

They happened to see a very good house, not only was it a good house but it was the thunderbird and firefox's house!

The villagers thought the thunderbird and firefox were never coming back, so the house was on sale.

That is the end (not of the whole story!)

The Fourth Chapter and a Little More

Every day, I am looking forward to writing the next chapter after I write the chapter every day and before I write the chapter every day. Here's today's chapter.

The witch ran away - ran, not flew, because she left her broomstick inside. By the remains of the house, the firefox and the thunderbird were talking about what happened. Could this mean something?

Since the firefox and the thunderbird were already at the mountains, because the witch took them there, they took off for a higher point after discussing where they should go. About half way up the mountains, the thunderbird and the firefox stopped to rest.

The firefox said, "I'm getting hungry. Let's eat some of the sandwiches." The thunderbird agreed to this plan and they had three of the six sandwiches - one and a half each.

(By the way, I am making a virtual playground castle for Mama. I think it's going to be excellent.)

Finally, they came to a castle. It seemed like the top of the mountain, but it seemed like there was more to climb at the same time. They knocked on the door and this time, not a kind old lady, but a child, came out. The child said, "Hello, my name's Anna."

The firefox said, "Hello, I'm a firefox and this is my friend, the thunderbird."

The thunderbird said, "Nice to meet you."

Anna said, "Come on inside. You look hungry."

The firefox said, "Actually we've just has some sandwiches, but we'd like to come in."

Then Anna said, "Then come in." The firefox now saw that it was kind of a castle house. It just looked like a full castle from outside. The thunderbird saw this too, but still, the castle house was brilliant.

When they came inside, they saw the child's mother. She said, "Why hello there. Would you like some tea?"

"Okay," the thunderbird and the firefox said together.

The child's mother said, "Anna, you go and put the kettle on. I'll go and get the table ready."

The thunderbird said, "Tea is one of my favourites. Thank you."

Then Anna came in again and said to her mother, "The kettle is on now. I'm just going out for a little walk around the mountains. Is that okay?"

"Yes, Anna, dear. As long as you come back when the tea's ready."

That is the end of chapter four, but it is not the end of the blog.

I think Magic World Builder is a good program. 101 Kids' Brainy Games is a good program. 101 Kids' Brainy Games has got chess on it too and I like chess, although it's just too hard for me. Magic World Builder is actually on 101 Kids' Brainy Games.

I'm using Magic World Builder right now. If you have it, you can go in the space section and click 'Create'. Then you can experiment with different parts so you can make a really long shooter that shoots lots. Actually, I'm making one right as I speak - right now - and I think making shooters is fun. You can even make flying shooters and space ships with shooters.

In 'Playground' you can also make castles instead of just playgrounds. You can also make your own creations into a puzzle by clicking on 'Load as Puzzle' in the 'Save Load' folder.

The Third Chapter

Today, I went to homeschool group. I did a club there; a dragon club. Right now, Tamburlaine is crawling about on Mama's chest going, "Wo-oo-oo-oo, wo-oo-oo-oo." He does that when he's happy. I think Tamburlaine is really nice and furry. Now I am going to do the third chapter of that story.

The thunderbird and the villagers tried to make a way through the corn to find the little cottage, but still, they couldn't find it. Meanwhile, back in the little cottage, which was now far away in the mountains, the witch was heating up the stove. To explain that, the witch had heard what the thunderbird had said and pretended to go to bed. The witch was singing, "Tasty, tasty, tasty fox. As big and strong as an ox. Cook it now and eat it now and you'll be as strong as an ox."

The firefox thought, "The thunderbird hasn't been back for some time. Maybe I should try harder to escape and look for him."

Meanwhile, back to the thunderbird. He was flying westward towards the mountains. He saw a little cottage and flew straight towards it. Out of the window, the firefox saw the thunderbird and called. The witch heard this and immediately locked all the windows and the door. The only problem was that the witch had still left the stove on. Suddenly, a fire appeared from the stove. The ropes quickly caught fire and the firefox ran off.

The witch used her magic to escape the house, but there was another problem for the witch - she had left her broomstick inside.

That is the end of chapter three.

The Second Chapter

I think I have a cold and I'm always getting colds around this time. Yes, yes, I know it's spring, but I've still got a cold, strangely.

I just like doing blogs. Let's get on with that second chapter.

The firefox tried summoning his fire at the witch, but it just wouldn't work. The thunderbird tried summoning his thunder at the witch, but that wouldn't work either. The witch said, "Ah, now that I've disabled your magical powers, I'll have you for dinner." The firefox and the thunderbird tried to escape, but now they noticed that ropes had been tied around them.

The thunderbird said, "I'll try to escape, with my wings, when the witch has gone to bed and call for help, okay?"

The firefox said, "There's little help around here, but still, there is a possibility, so yes, that sounds like a good plan."

The thunderbird said, "Okay. I think I heard that the witch has gone to bed. I'll try to escape now." The thunderbird flapped his wings and tried to escape, but could not. Suddenly, with a great burst of power, the thunderbird flew away! The thunderbird flew through the giant corn, calling for help.

At last, he came to his village. He told all the villagers what had happened. They immediately went to the weapons' store and got lots of weapons. They all hurried back to the little cottage in the giant corn, but it had gone.

That is the end of chapter two.

The Beginning of the Story

Finally, I am going to do my Mozilla story. I'm not really sure about it yet, but I do like to do blog posts. I want to do another blog today. Anyway, on with the story...

Once upon a time, there was a firefox and a thunderbird. The firefox could launch fire at enemies and the thunderbird could make thunder appear. They were good friends and played a lot together. One day they were feeling adventurous, so they set out to the mountains. On the way, on the path through the corn fields (of giant corn), they came upon a house that they had never seen before. They knocked on the door and a kind old lady came out. She invited them inside and gave them some blueberry pudding with cream. The thunderbird complained about his seat because he was used to a nest. Suddenly, after finishing it, they felt very tired. They lay down to rest in the bed which had been already prepared behind them.

When they woke up, it was night and they knew they could not travel on. Suddenly, a witch appeared! The witch looked like the kind old lady. The thunderbird and the firefox worked it out. The kind old lady was the witch in disguise!

That is the end of chapter one.

Mozilla and (Guinea) Pigs

Have you ever tried iGoogle before? But have you ever tried Google Chrome before?

Google Chrome is the new Google browser. Some people might know. Some people won't.

iGoogle is a customised Google. You can add themes and gadgets and some of the gadgets are games. On the other hand, there are some cool themes, but I like the rainbow one best. You just happen to stumble upon the best ones.

Now guinea pigs are just so cute. Actually, while I am writing this blog, I really want to hold one and actually, I will. I often tell guinea pigs, 'you're so sute,' instead of 'you're so cute.' On my computer there's this really nice picture of Karen. I've even got it as my icon, because I normally use XP, but sometimes I use Windows 98. Karen is the one I'm holding now and she's all brown and really silky. Brown in a good way, just brown coloured fur.

Now for the Mozilla bit. I've been thinking to make up a story and Mozilla gave me an idea for the two main characters. Guess what they could be; the Thunderbird and the Firefox, of course. Firefox is a web browser and Thunderbird is an email program, although most people may already know that. I can't think up the whole story yet, but maybe I'll do it in a blog to come. I might do it in another blog today, it's just that this blog is getting too full for writing.

Another bit about that picture of Karen. It's a picture of her lying down with her belly facing up and she's lying on my nice black winter jarmie suit.

A Pancake, PC & Pig Post

I had some really nice pancakes today. All you need to do to make them is to make normal pancakes then spread peanut butter on them. Yummy! Remember, though, that not everyone likes peanut butter pancakes. Not everyone likes pancakes. I do though! Also, as a treat, Nutella pancakes are good, but we don't have any Nutella. If you're looking for something different on pancakes, maybe try cheese and Vegemite. I haven't tried them though, or, at least, I don't remember what they taste like if I have.

On your computer, if you've got this maze screensaver, set it to "All Wood" and if you like, set it to have a map. Then, have a look and see what happens. On mine there is wood everywhere. It looks like you are trapped in every direction. There are obstacles around, of course, and those red arrow things that make you go upside down. They also mark out some places and it's easier to navigate around that way. Of course, you don't control the computer. If you can't find the map, it's "Maze Overlay" in "Settings". I'm using a Windows 98 laptop for this though.

Yep, relaxing in the DK lounge; snuggling the best pig in the whole wide world, Karen.

Now to move on to the screensaver, "3D Text", if you've got it. I like to have it at large, fast, make it wobble about - that's the spin style and entering random text like "jdsaklhftjnvjkdapjuei". On this slow computer with a tiny memory, it goes all slow. Now to make it even more funny. Choose a good texture and then have a look. Mine's even got "N" in hieroglyphs - water.

To explain the guinea pig grass photo, Karen has been in her tray eating loads of grass. When I held her, she was all warm.

A Short Picture Blog Post

Last night the guinea pigs were doing some serious chillaxin' (chilling + relaxing). Well, actually, only Karen, Justine and Tamburlaine were chillaxin'. I was snuggling in the DK lounge with Karen and Justine. They were in a little corner and if you follow on the little road from there, you get to the heater. This is what it looks like:

I was also playing on my laptop. I was probably eating one of my vegie boxes.

A Two Subject Blog

Using the Internet has lots of good things and a few bad things. For example, sometimes you load a page then when you're finished with it, you click the 'back' button, but it doesn't go back. Then you click the little button (next to the back button) and there's just a million pages there! I think this occurs in all browsers, it certainly occurs in Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Just before I was making this blog post, I was relaxing in my DK-lounge. The guinea pigs were ripping the newspaper out of their tray. The guinea pigs were supposed to hide under that towel in front of the tray, but instead, they kicked it off and hid under their cushion!

I went to a friend's birthday party today. It was great! It was a pizza popcorn party. We stayed up till really late. That was mainly because we watched a movie. It was Charlotte's Web 2.

Sunflowers, Hair & Tamburlaines

I just like reading. I do! I just read things automatically if there's something I can read. I also do a few other things automatically: twisting my hair; sucking my hair and making the tips of my hair go along my cheek. As you can see, I do a lot of things automatically with my hair. Also another thing I do automatically with my hair is make big knots. It's hard to get the big knots out.

I'm growing a sunflower. It's growing pretty fast, even at this winter time. I put it on the window ledge. It's a good spot for ripening tomatoes as well, but our tomatoes are gone for the year. We did get an extra boost through autumn though.

Tamburlaine is hiding under the first layer of his three layer hiding place. It's made out of a towel and he's probably got dry poo on his feet, because he walks in his poo. He also sticks his nose in his baby powder milk and that makes him sneeze when he's having milk. It's funny.

A Various Blog Post

Today, I woke up to find I had slept through homeschool group. This was a surprise and I like homeschool group, so it was also a bad surprise - kind of a bad surprise and kind of a good surprise. It was a good surprise, because I get another day off. That is the short story of today.

Guinea pigs are cute. Well, they are, aren't they? You'll know if you have one. We have four, as I told you in my last blog post. Two of them are relaxing near the heater, Karen and Tamburlaine.

Theodore (the poo poo one) is hiding either in his ice cream tub pigloo on the second floor of his hutch or in the hay on the first floor. If I came near and lifted up the top one and he was in there, he would probably frantically scrabble away.

Justine, on the other hand, is hiding in her pigloo, or the hay under the wood that Mama (tinsenpup) put there.

My Very First Blog Post

I'm DK (The Dragonkeeper). I am the daughter of tinsenpup and this is my blog. Here is a short story that happened today:

We have four guinea pigs - one named Karen, one named Justine, a little one that is two and a half weeks old and of course Karen, the silky brown one, may well be sister to Justine. Justine is the mother to our little one, except she rejected it and we had to hand raise it ourselves. Tinsenpup also has a blog named Raising the Palm Pig (or something like that) and of course, our male, also the father of our little one. He poos anywhere, anytime! I almost forgot to tell you the name! His name is Theodore and our little one's name is Tamburlaine and, of course, my 21 dragons, for this blog is not only about guinea pigs. Over time, I will tell you about my friends. There's just too much about my friends and me to tell you in one blog!

Now is the short story:

Tamburlaine is in his crate with a blanket over it so that he doesn't jump out (he's always jumping out). I took him out. I probably snuggled him a bit, but I can't remember. He may have escaped to Mama or I may have put him down next to his crate, but he went between the heater and his crate. I tried to grab him, but burnt myself!
